The company focuses on grills and Firelighter products for consumers as well as oil candles. We ourselves produce vegetable oil candles and oil candles based on N-paraffin. Both types are significantly better for
the indoor climate than traditional candles.
API-X has patented a vegetable oil product that can be used to produce white vegetable lighting products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. We develop these new lighting products in collaboration with European manufacturers of lighting products.
We deliver ZIP Grill and Firelighter products to the whole of Scandinavia and will continuously offer new environmentally friendly and sustainable grill and Firelighter products together with ZIP along with the more traditional Firelighter products from ZIP.
The Heat Beads® briquettes have been the market leader in Denmark for 20 years as the product delivers even and stable grilling over many hours – every time. The Heat Beads family is expanded with Heads Beads® Hardwood briquettes and Heat Beads® LUMP charcoal.

API-X is a well-organized and structured company that is owned and run by people with many years of experience in the industry. To achieve optimal efficiency and fast communication, the organization is hierarchically divided into a few levels.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a natural part of our work with our own factory in Bosnia and all our external suppliers.
We want to integrate social and environmental considerations in all our business activities and in our interaction with our suppliers. Our social responsibility is a natural and incorporated part of all our activities.
API-X has an ongoing dialogue with our suppliers about handling social, environmental, and ethical challenges in accordance with internationally recognized principles of social responsibility such as:
- To require suppliers to comply with human and labor rights
- To collaborate with suppliers to improve social and environmental conditions
- To work systematically with environmental and climate management
- To work to improve employee relations and the working environment within the company
Accountability
We support WWF, which has helped build the RSPO certificate scheme. RSPO ensure sustainable production of palm oil.
API-X only uses RSPO certified oils in our vegetable products. Look for the RSPO logo and license number.
